Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 2 Polling Live: The second phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is scheduled to begin on April 26 at 7 am. In the second phase, voting is being held on 89 Lok Sabha seats in 13 states and Union Territories (UTs). Voting will start at these places at 7 am, which will continue till 5 pm. The top contenders in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections include Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress. Many regional parties have also fielded their candidates on 89 seats.
Prominent candidates in the second phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections include Bhupesh Baghel from Rajnandgaon, DK Suresh from Bengaluru Rural, Shobha Karandlaje from Bengaluru North, Tejasvi Surya from Bengaluru South, HD Kumaraswamy from Mandya, Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad, Anil Antony from Pathanamthitta, Shashi Tharoor and Rajiv Chandrashekhar are included from Thiruvananthapuram. The candidates contesting in the second phase include Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Jodhpur, Vaibhav Gehlot from Jalore, Hema Malini from Mathura, Arun Govil from Meerut.
In the second phase of voting, elections are being held on three seats of Bihar: Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia and Bhagalpur. Elections will be held on Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund and Kanker seats of Chhattisgarh. People are casting their votes in Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Betul Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. Elections are being held in Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal Washim, Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani seats of Maharashtra.
In the second phase of elections, voting will be held in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota, Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha seats of Rajasthan. Voting will be held on Darjeeling, Raiganj and Balurghat Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal. Voting is taking place in Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura of Uttar Pradesh.
Voting will be held on all the seats in the southern state of Kerala during the second phase. Voting is being held in Karnataka’s Udupi, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru North, Bengaluru Central, Bengaluru South, Chikballapur, Kolar seats.
